So much sun. But also stars.
I have been dreaming about this dress since it first launched over a year ago and it's finally mine. Hella heart eye emojis for this one. Cool & sexeyyy just like its creator Alexandra Spencer of 4th and Bleeker, she might not have posted anything new on her blog since June '05 but all the old entries are cool AF so give yourself a couple of hours to get lost in the Alexandra universe.
THE DRESS
It's red, it has tiny stars and a few sassy ruffles and is an instant mood booster once you put it on. I like wrap dresses and I think they like me too, their cut is very flattering for a flat chested petite being like myself. I'll wear it with my white All Stars when the weather catches up with the season, to tone down the femme-ness or barefoot at an island adventure (wishful thinking).
THE SHOES
Remember this post? I decided to go with the Valentino Tan-Go pumps as their design is timeless and the heel height very manageable, in other words the investment piece of investment pieces. Jeans would give them a chic tomboish look, paired with cigarette trousers it can take you from job interview to art gallery and when worn with dresses...ooooh mama! I wish you could hear me say "ooooh mama".
