It's the (most wonderful) time of the year when everyone gets into the festive mood, the city is filled with fairy lights, Christmas ornaments adorn every shop window and mince pies are everywhere you look.
It's also the time when knitwear transitions from optional to mandatory.
In the past few years the Christmas jumper category has grown massively on the high street and more and more brands offer a multitude of styles to cover everyone's taste. I appreciate the novelty factor but I wouldn't be investing my £££ into an article of clothing that will take space in my wardrobe the entire year but can will realistically be worn only a couple of times. So here is my take on the Christmas jumper. A simple silhouette with an interesting detail, minimalism and maximalism balanced. I opted for a tonal look to let the gorgeous embellishment shine, I wore this to the office as well as a coffee date with a friend. An even more Love-ly approach to the subject is to just wear my usual knit paired back with stunning earrings and a festive lip.
